Job Description
This role involves providing technical support to end users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing helpdesk tickets, assisting with equipment setup and upgrades, and collaborating with the IT team to ensure smooth technology operations within a design-focused organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Helpdesk tickets, escalate issues, work with clients, and close tickets
- Provide end user support, troubleshooting Windows and Microsoft Office issues
- Prepare, set up, and coordinate employee equipment
- Identify hardware and software upgrade needs and coordinate with System Administrators for implementation
- Participate in testing and evaluating hardware and software
- Adapt and modify existing hardware and software to meet specific needs
- Maintain peripherals such as printers
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in Information Technology or related field.
- Knowledge of MS Windows desktop and Microsoft Office is required.
- Strong communication skills and innovative thinking are essential.
- Ability to work with the IT team to provide technical software, hardware, and network problem resolutions in a user-friendly professional manner.
