Job Description
A geospatial solutions specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise GIS workflows using Esri technology to help customers make data-driven decisions, particularly within the Intelligence and Defense sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
- Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers for innovative Esri solutions
- Identify the value of location within customer workflows and drive return on investment in Esri's platform
- Recommend strategies, architectures, and solutions, and assist with implementation and migration planning
- Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to diverse customer organizations
- Collaborate with customer IT teams to align technical objectives and business goals with Esri technology
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar position supporting responsibilities related to geospatial solutions and GIS workflows.
- Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform including Desktop, Server, and Online.
- Proven experience leveraging Esri’s software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs.
- Proactively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Intelligence domain.
- Proven experience with GIS workflow automation patterns.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to both technical peers and non-technical peers, project managers, and customers.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
- U.S. citizenship and willingness and ability to maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a STEM-related field.
