Job Description

This position involves leading the technical development and coordination of a large healthcare facility project as a Project Architect, overseeing design integration, documentation, quality, and construction administration to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of all technical aspects and content for a healthcare facility project.
  • Manage the critical path process to guide the project team through technical and production phases.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary work to ensure integrated deliverables and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain project schedules, work plans, and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Contribute to project risk assessments and proactively resolve project-related issues.
  • Guide the development and execution of project quality plans and technical documentation strategies.
  • Translate design intent into technical documentation throughout construction phases.
  • Ensure building performance and sustainable design goals are integrated into the project.
  • Monitor project documentation for contractual compliance and coordinate discipline efforts.
  • Oversee construction administration tasks, including RFIs and submittals response.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 10 years of related professional experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in increasingly responsible roles in construction documentation on institutional and/or commercial projects
  • At least 3 years of experience in a responsible role in construction administration on large institutional or commercial projects
  • Previous experience on large, complex projects
  • Current Architectural Registration in the United States
  • Knowledge of building codes and requirements
  • Demonstrated focus on quality
  • Must possess business acumen
  • Strong client leadership skills
  • Strong technical leadership skills for production team
  • Capable of leading and mentoring less experienced staff
  • Advanced knowledge in discipline
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software
  • Travel as required
  • Professional business attire required when attending client meetings, including suits, ties, collared dress shirts, dresses, and skirts

Salary range of $103,200 to $129,000 annually, with potential for discretionary bonuses
