Job Description
The Marketing Specialist will lead proposal development, create marketing materials, and support brand marketing initiatives within a professional services firm, primarily focusing on proposal writing, collateral creation, and market research to enhance the company's visibility and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and coordination of proposal materials throughout all stages of the process.
- Collaborate with marketing team and leadership to develop pursuit strategies from client engagement to securing project wins.
- Create and update marketing materials such as resumes, presentations, and collateral in line with brand standards.
- Develop and produce collateral that supports markets, offices, and services.
- Conduct marketing research to inform market strategy and pursuit activities.
- Manage local regional marketing activities, including sponsorships, awards, events, and photography to enhance brand visibility.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the firm's portfolio, personnel, and offerings, and across markets and services to add value to marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and update client and pursuit information in CRM systems like Salesforce and Deltek CRM Vision.
- Review and ensure accuracy and quality of marketing content and proposals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field required.
- A minimum of 3 years of related work experience required.
- Related experience working in a marketing or communications role for a professional services firm required.
- Strong proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be proactive, self-driven, organized, detail-oriented and have an enthusiasm for innovation.
- Strong time and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Solid skills in strategic thinking, writing and design with the potential and or interest to further develop in at least one of these areas.
