Job Description
This role involves providing technical expertise in the planning and design of a large healthcare facility, collaborating with project teams to develop innovative solutions, translating concepts into construction documents, and ensuring sustainable design practices, primarily based in Rochester, MN.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in programming and planning for healthcare projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and refine space planning concepts.
- Communicate planning ideas effectively to clients, designers, and project teams.
- Assist in developing architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Contribute to project scope, planning, and service development during contract phases.
- Incorporate sustainable design solutions into healthcare projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- At least 2 years of previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on health projects
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements
- Must possess working knowledge and experience in relevant skills, while still acquiring higher level knowledge
- Must be analytical and an independent thinker
- Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam software
