Job Description
A role focused on leveraging GIS and telecommunications expertise to develop and manage strategic customer relationships, promote Esri's geospatial technology solutions, and drive sales growth within the telecommunications industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for large organizations
- Identify new opportunities and deepen existing customer relationships
- Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote Esri technology
- Demonstrate industry knowledge and relevance of GIS to telecommunications
- Identify key stakeholders and understand customer decision-making processes
- Articulate the value of Esri technology in the telecommunications market
- Execute account management and sales processes to meet revenue goals
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to develop account strategies
- Share knowledge and mentor team members
- Manage the sales cycle, create partnerships, and establish trust with large customers
Requirements
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and the Telecommunication market as they relate to one another
- Advanced knowledge of the telecommunications business, network management, new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers, including but not limited to wired or wireless telecommunications service providers, telecom engineering or design services, and vertical infrastructure
- At least 5 years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience
- Experience managing the sales cycle, creating partnerships, and establishing oneself as a trusted advisor with large customers
- Expert visual storytelling and negotiation skills across all levels of an organization
- Financial and business acumen to build compelling account growth strategies
- Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field

Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $114,400 - $218,400 USD
Work schedule: Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time
