Job Description
The Environmental Graphic Designer III is a creative professional responsible for developing and executing detailed signage, wayfinding, and exhibit graphics for high-end workplace, healthcare, and sports environments, collaborating with design teams to transform concepts into compelling visual experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the design process from concept development through artwork production.
- Translate client needs and ideas into compelling design concepts that express their mission and purpose.
- Execute projects from strategy to final design, including storyboarding and detailed solutions across media types.
- Develop documentation for graphic programs, signage systems, donor recognition, and exhibits.
- Produce camera-ready artwork for fabrication.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members, vendors, fabricators, and outside consultants.
- Create visualizations and mockups of signage and graphic content on digital models.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design field required.
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience required.
- Exceptional design portfolio demonstrating a strong background in a variety of markets with a particular focus on high-end workplace environments.
- Strong typography skills.
- Proficiency on Mac in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required.
- Must have demonstrated skill and interest in 3-dimensional design, wayfinding, exhibition design, and environments.
- Must have a working knowledge and experience in all phases of design process medium to large projects.
- Basic understanding of project management.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Analytical and independent thinker.
