Job Description
This entry-level architectural position involves supporting design development, producing documentation and graphics, assisting with research and site visits, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team under supervision to contribute to architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design process using software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch-up
- Build physical building models
- Produce architectural documentation under supervision
- Create graphics and images for client presentations
- Assist in product research and building code research
- Review shop drawings and submittals
- Attend project team meetings
- Visit job sites to verify conditions and observe construction progress
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture required by hire date
- Strong creative design portfolio is essential
- Must have strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required
- Proficiency with Revit and Enscape preferred
- Ability to contribute to the design process by utilizing various software platforms such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch-up under supervision
- Ability to build physical building models
- Ability to produce architectural documentation under supervisory direction
- Ability to produce graphics materials and images for client presentations under supervisory direction
- Ability to assist in product research under supervision of Project Architect or Project Manager
- Ability to assist with research of building code information as directed by Project Architect
- Ability to participate in the review of shop drawings and submittals under supervision
- Willingness to attend in-house project team meetings
- Willingness to visit job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress, including physical walk-through of the site
