This position involves collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to design, coordinate, and detail architectural projects, including site plans and engineering systems, while maintaining communication with clients and consultants, and potentially leading project efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to design, production, coordination, and architectural detailing within a multi-disciplinary team
Assist in coordinating engineering systems with engineers and consultants
Maintain communication with the Owner and Consultants regarding project status and design concerns
Prepare design sketches of moderate to complex site plans
Ensure project documents are coordinated across disciplines
Evaluate designs for code compliance and assist in plan check reviews and approvals
Perform field site observations and visits
Coordinate with team members on project assignments
Supervise, monitor, train, and direct work of interns and less experienced team members
Take leadership roles in project team meetings and potentially in marketing proposals
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
Minimum 6 years of related professional experience required.
Current Architectural Registration in the United States required.
Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
Must be a fully qualified professional.
Must possess technical capabilities.
Must be a critical thinker and highly analytical.
Must have a strong creative design portfolio.
Ability to perform work with some degree of latitude and with some ambiguity in work.
Ability to independently contribute design, production, coordination, and architectural detailing as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Assist in coordination of engineering systems with engineers and consultants.
Maintain communications with the Owner and Consultants on project status, design intent, concerns, and questions.
Prepare design sketches of moderate to complex site plans.
Evaluate design for code compliance and assist in plan check review and approvals.
May independently process Requests for Information.
Perform field site observations, including physical walk-through of site.
Coordinate with all other team members on project assignments.
May supervise, monitor, train, and direct work of interns and less experienced team members.
May take a leadership role within the project team and in team meetings.
