This position is a senior project management and leadership role within an architecture and design firm, responsible for managing large projects, leading teams, maintaining client relationships, ensuring quality and compliance, and contributing to business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop client relationships to secure future opportunities
Manage project teams to achieve quality, budget, schedule, and profitability goals
Oversee project planning, including work plan, budget, and schedule development and management
Manage design and documentation processes during construction
Ensure project compliance, risk mitigation, and documentation standards are met
Coordinate workload and provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related degree required.
Minimum of 12 years related experience, including managing projects with construction budgets of 70 million dollars or more.
Experience working on education projects required.
Current Licensure preferred.
LEED certification preferred.
Capability of performing in a project management role for large or multiple projects and training project managers.
Strong client leadership and project team management capability for large or multiple projects.
Must possess strong business acumen.
Ability to perform as a leader of authority, with expert level knowledge.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential.
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam as well as other data management software is required.
