Job Description
A Delivery Driver responsible for the safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of landscape materials, operating non-CDL dump trucks, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of landscape materials
- Operate dump trucks non CDL sizes (e.g., Ford F550, F650) in compliance with regulations and policies
- Navigate difficult areas using good peripheral vision and depth perception
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers
- Meet and exceed customer expectations
- Maintain trustworthiness, reliability, and a strong work ethic
- Take initiative and solve problems as they arise
- Work effectively as part of a team in a busy landscape supply yard
Requirements
- Candidate must be knowledgeable of and compliant with all relevant State of California Regulations, federal regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
- Candidate must have the ability to safely operate dump trucks non CDL sizes, for example Ford F550 and Ford F650.
- Position requires good peripheral vision and depth perception while navigating difficult areas.
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills while interacting with customers.
- Candidate must be trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking.
- Candidate must be able to take initiative, problem solve, and be a team player in a busy Landscape Supply Yard.
