Job Description
A Material Handler - Sorter is responsible for removing recyclable materials from debris in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, assisting customers, and ensuring safe and efficient recycling operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove recyclable materials from debris for processing
- Interact with customers and assist with unloading materials from vehicles
- Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, lifting and standing throughout the shift
Requirements
- Candidate must be trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking.
- Candidate must be physically capable of lifting and standing for the entire shift in all weather conditions.
- Candidate must be able to interact well with customers and assist customers with unloading material from vehicles as allowed.
- Candidate must be able to take initiative, problem solve, and be a team player.
- Candidate must be able to work in a very fast-paced work environment.
- Candidate must be able to remove recyclable materials out of debris to be processed for recycling.
