Job Description
The Software Engineer will work on the Machine Learning Data Engine Labels Platform team to develop and maintain high-volume data labeling services, improve data quality, and implement ML Ops best practices to support autonomous driving data needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support high volume data labeling operations through production services
- Develop data models and interfaces for autonomy data consumers
- Ensure platform reliability by applying production best practices
- Develop features for new labeling applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects from inception to delivery
- Design processes to improve data coverage and quality using ML Ops best practices
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field. For non-CS majors or BS candidates, strong software experience is required.
- At least 4 years of experience in industry.
- At least 4 years of expertise with production backend services.
- Experience with Cloud computing, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in C and Python programming languages.
- Ability to apply production best practices to ensure platform reliability.
- Ability to develop features for new labeling applications.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and functions including product, program, operations, and data science to drive projects from inception to delivery.
- Experience with ML Ops best practices to design processes for improving data coverage and quality.
Benefits & Perks
Base salary range of $126,000 - $201,000 per year
Annual bonus eligibility
Equity compensation
Hybrid work environment with in-office presence at least 3 days per week
