Job Description

The Staff Training Program Manager is responsible for designing, executing, and continuously improving operational training programs to ensure Aurora's workforce is prepared for commercial deployment, supporting safety, efficiency, and scalability across multiple sites and teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end execution and continuous improvement of operational training programs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and optimize training schedules, logistics, and resource allocation across multiple sites and time zones.
  • Provide strategic direction and coaching to training instructors to ensure quality, accountability, and consistency.
  • Establish and maintain standardized training delivery processes to ensure scalability and process maturity.
  • Monitor training performance metrics, analyze data, and implement improvements to enhance workforce readiness, proficiency, and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training initiatives with product releases and operational processes.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) years of experience in program management or training management capacity.
  • Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority.
  • Track record of multi-functional leadership and excellent stakeholder management to drive rapid, effective execution across the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, collaboration, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex trade-offs and drive consensus on strategic decisions.
  • Advanced analytical skills and business acumen, using data to inform action.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for modeling and performance tracking.
  • High ownership mindset with a bias for action in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%, with occasional nights or weekends flexibility to support infrequent operational needs.
