Job Description
The FP&A Analyst at Aurora will lead procurement performance analysis, develop financial models, optimize dashboards, and support strategic finance initiatives to improve vendor spend, cost savings, and process efficiencies in a fast-growing technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and track procurement KPIs and spend down targets by category
- Analyze vendor spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and monitor progress
- Create and maintain financial models for evaluating supplier contracts and pricing scenarios
- Build and optimize dashboards to monitor procurement performance, compliance, and savings
- Prepare spend reports and forecasts, supporting a rolling 90-day planning process
- Present procurement performance reports to leadership
- Review and improve procurement SOPs based on data analysis, driving process standardization
- Drive system automation and ensure data integrity to enhance scalable procurement processes
Requirements
- Five years of relevant experience in Finance and/or Procurement roles in large and/or fast-growing companies.
- Significant experience working in public companies with quarterly reporting requirements is preferred.
- Ability to operate successfully in dynamic environments, identify process improvements, and implement process changes with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of procurement, accounting, and FP&A systems and processes, and how they integrate.
- Ability to pivot seamlessly between granular details and big picture strategic topics, identifying connections between the two.
- Familiarity with advanced FP&A tools and systems and corporate accounting systems such as Pigment, Coupa, and NetSuite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to senior executive audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- CPA or international equivalent, CFA, or MBA is preferred but not required.
- Expert-level skills in GSuite, particularly Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides.
- Experience with Pigment, Coupa, and/or NetSuite is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major BI visualization tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus.
- Experience with data warehouse, ETL processes, and SQL is a plus.

Base salary range: $104,000 - $166,000 per year
