Job Description
The role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines and storage systems for autonomous vehicle data, supporting data lifecycle management, and improving system efficiency within Aurora's self-driving technology platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of internal data platform products and implement best practices for data retention.
- Improve log data availability, discoverability, and lifecycle management.
- Design efficient storage patterns for autonomous vehicle logs balancing performance and cost.
- Enhance system efficiency through data hygiene improvements across Aurora.
- Support software engineering teams and collaborate with stakeholders to meet company objectives.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in software engineering or a similar role.
- Proficiency in programming with GoLang and Python.
- General knowledge of backend software systems including networking, load balancing, API gateways, system security, and gRPC services.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure, specifically including S3 and DynamoDB, in a production commercial system.
- Knowledge of database design, database management, and database scalability.

Base salary range: $105,000 - $157,000 per year
