Job Description
The Senior Program Manager, Commercial Growth at Aurora is responsible for facilitating operational expansion and translating commercial opportunities into actionable plans, ensuring effective execution and supporting the company's growth in autonomous vehicle logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the operational liaison between Business Development, Operations, Strategy, and Finance to translate commercial opportunities into operational programs
- Drive planning, execution, and performance monitoring of operational programs supporting commercial growth
- Lead readiness efforts for new customers, including operating procedures, lane design, terminal capacity planning, and contract compliance
- Analyze logistics partner needs and constraints to improve service delivery and cost-effectiveness
- Evaluate fleet distribution to meet customer demand, assess cost trade-offs, and support revenue growth planning
- Identify resource constraints and risks, facilitating actions to address gaps in delivery
- Monitor commercial KPIs and address program gaps or execution issues affecting profitability and scalability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or experience in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or Finance.
- At least 5 years of experience in program management or operations strategy.
- Proven track record of multi-functional leadership and excellent stakeholder management to drive rapid, effective execution across the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, collaboration, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex trade-offs and present data and recommendations for strategic decisions to executive stakeholders.
- Superior attention to detail and strong business acumen.
- Proficient advanced modeling skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment and adapt quickly.
- Ownership mentality to drive issues and tasks to completion, with a strong bias for action.
