Job Description
The Senior Business Analyst, Workforce Strategy at Aurora is responsible for forecasting, analyzing, and optimizing workforce headcount and vendor management strategies to support operational goals in a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on self-driving technology and mobility solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecast, allocate, and optimize workforce headcount to align with operational plans and hiring strategies
- Develop financial and operational models linking business drivers to staffing, vendor management, and budgets
- Create dashboards, metrics, and reports to monitor staffing utilization, labor productivity, and capacity gaps
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop scenarios balancing service levels, cost, and growth objectives
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends in labor productivity and attrition
- Monitor workforce KPIs and identify program gaps or issues affecting profitability and scalability
- Improve data integrity and automate manual reporting workflows to enhance efficiency
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, engineering operations, FP&A, or strategic operations, ideally in a fast-scaling tech environment.
- Bachelor's degree and/or work experience in a quantitative field such as Operations Research, Business Analytics, Economics, Math, Statistics, or Finance.
- Exceptional Excel and Google Sheets financial modeling skills.
- Expertise in SQL and building dashboards in business intelligence tools such as Mode or Tableau.
- Proficiency in advanced statistical modeling and Python is a plus.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and DBT models.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance detailed analysis with big-picture thinking.
- Track record of multi-functional leadership and excellent stakeholder management to drive rapid, effective execution across the organization.
- Strong executive presence with demonstrated ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Ownership mentality to drive issues and tasks to completion, with a strong bias for action.

Base salary range of $104,000 - $150,000 per year
