Job Description
A Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC, is responsible for supporting land development and renewable energy projects by producing detailed drawings, analyzing survey data, and collaborating with project teams using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce project drawings
- Generate drawings such as ALTA NSPS Surveys, Land Divisions, Right of Way Dedications, and construction layouts
- Review survey data to analyze existing site conditions and legal documents
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients
- Coordinate workflow and communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to meet project goals
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required
- Experience with boundary resolution and title review required
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred
- High School Diploma required
- Associated Degree preferred
