Job Description
The Project Surveyor role involves managing and executing land development surveys for residential, commercial, and energy projects, collaborating with teams, and utilizing technical skills in survey data processing and mapping to ensure precise and high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Managers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for land development projects.
- Lead and oversee boundary, ALTA NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys with accuracy and efficiency.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to process data, create plats, exhibits, and maps, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Review and verify survey calculations and field data for precision and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to provide survey expertise and support project needs.
Requirements
- A deep understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Easements, Title Review, and Real Estate Documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center, with the ability to process data, create detailed plats, exhibits, and maps, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Experience with Trimble field equipment preferred.
- Prior field crew experience is a plus, indicating an understanding of both office and field survey processes.
- LSIT or PLS certification desired, with multi-state licensure being a plus.
- Partner closely with Project Managers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for land development projects of all sizes.
- Lead and oversee boundary, ALTA NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys with accuracy and efficiency.
- Review and verify survey calculations and field data to ensure precision and compliance with project standards.
- Collaborate daily with engineers, contractors, and clients, serving as the trusted survey voice on the team.
