Job Description
The Project Surveyor at Atwell, LLC is responsible for leading and managing land development surveys, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring accurate data collection and processing to support residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Managers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for land development projects
- Lead and oversee boundary, ALTA NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to process data and create detailed plats, exhibits, and maps
- Review and verify survey calculations and field data for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure survey accuracy and project success
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Easements, Title Review, and Real Estate Documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center, with the ability to process data, create detailed plats, exhibits, and maps, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Experience with Trimble field equipment preferred.
- Prior field crew experience is a plus, demonstrating understanding of both field and office survey processes.
- LSIT or PLS certification desired; multi-state licensure is a plus.
- Ability to partner closely with Project Managers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for land development projects of all sizes.
- Ability to lead and oversee boundary, ALTA NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys with accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong collaboration skills to work daily with engineers, contractors, and clients, serving as the trusted survey voice on the team.
