Job Description
The position involves collaborating with team members to design residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including site layout, utility, roadway, stormwater, and permitting tasks, primarily using AutoCAD Civil 3D, with opportunities for client interaction and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design residential, commercial, and industrial site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Prepare conceptual site layouts, grading analyses, and site layout plans
- Conduct site analysis reports, utility computations, stormwater management, and earthwork analysis
- Assist in producing final construction drawings and permit applications
- Support project managers and communicate with clients regarding project specifics
- Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
- Attend client and public meetings, including evenings or days
- Participate in business development efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
- 0-2 years related experience in engineering or a similar field
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary to complete projects
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a variety of people
- Ability to respond quickly and accurately under pressure
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in the English language
- Physical ability to frequently sit and talk or hear, and occasionally stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work outdoors in weather conditions for extended periods (occasionally)

Compensation range: $67,000 - $80,400 USD
