Job Description
The Manager, Field Operations oversees third-party construction supervision for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects, ensuring safety, quality, technical compliance, and project coordination to meet budgets and schedules within Arevon's renewable energy portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure third-party construction supervision resources enforce safety, environmental, and quality standards on solar and BESS project sites
- Oversee permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities of solar and BESS projects by EPCs
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, utilities, and authorities to facilitate project execution
- Manage and review third-party construction supervision personnel, ensuring training and accountability
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain schedules and budgets
- Monitor and report on project progress through weekly and monthly updates
- Implement lessons learned to improve contract templates and project processes
Requirements
- A track record of working well within a team environment, taking ownership of processes and procedures.
- Enjoys solving real-world analytical problems.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
- Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Project, Outlook, etc., PowerBI, Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera P6.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks effectively and work efficiently.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and thorough understanding of prime contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Travel up to 75%.
