Job Description
The IT Support Technician provides technical assistance by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues, supporting users both in person and remotely, and maintaining IT systems to ensure smooth daily operations within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues on PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Install, upgrade, and configure Windows operating systems, applications, and essential software
- Provide hands-on and remote support using remote desktop tools
- Manage user accounts across enterprise applications and systems
- Support onboarding processes, including workstation setup, account provisioning, and new hire training
- Document procedures, solutions, and troubleshooting steps to improve team knowledge
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of IT issues involving hardware, software, networking, and user access.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong problem solving mentality with the ability to work efficiently in fast paced environments.
- Comfortable providing support in person, over the phone, or through remote support tools.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or service-oriented role, with a focus on delivering exceptional support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 11 and Office 365 applications.
- Ability to work onsite and contribute positively to an active office environment.
