Job Description
The role involves leading the development, optimization, and management of enterprise business systems and internal software platforms, including ERP and CRM, to support Arevon's renewable energy projects and growth objectives, while overseeing vendor partnerships and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize core enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, AML, project tools, data systems) for reliability, scalability, and alignment.
- Develop and deliver a multi-year enterprise systems and internal software roadmap aligned with business priorities.
- Establish governance for system use, integrations, data standards, and change management processes.
- Lead the lifecycle of internal software, integrations, and automation, setting engineering standards and ensuring maintainability.
- Ensure dependable analytics and reporting through integration, data quality controls, and access management.
- Manage vendors, implementation partners, and internal teams through full project lifecycle, including data migration and go-live.
- Partner with IT to define service ownership, monitoring, incident escalation, SLAs, and release schedules.
- Lead and develop a team across BI Analytics, Data Engineering, Software Development, and Systems Administration.
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and drive adoption through training and change management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in enterprise systems, software engineering, technical architecture, or technology leadership.
- At least 5 years of experience leading teams delivering enterprise applications, integrations, data platforms, and/or internal software products.
- Experience owning CRM or ERP financial systems and leading multi-system implementations and modernization projects.
- Strong background in APIs, iPaaS, ETL/ELT, interoperability, and delivery operations.
- Experience with Agile SDLC, DevOps concepts, and change management.
- Experience managing vendors and implementation partners, with familiarity with security access controls and audit requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.
- Ability to translate technical decisions into business outcomes, tradeoffs, and clear priorities.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture, integration design, data governance, and ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Proven ability to execute in a structured manner, prioritize well, drive accountability, and manage risk in fast-paced environments.
