Job Description
The Community Relations Intern supports Arevon's community engagement efforts by assisting with storytelling, data visualization, and project standardization related to renewable energy projects, gaining experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Community Relations team by creating content to enhance field operations.
- Audit current data and build tools to visualize community impact ROI and develop storytelling materials.
- Identify and collect relevant metrics and data to quantify community relations efforts.
- Develop presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate community impact and project progress.
- Revise and update community relations checklists and best practices for unsupported projects.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of tools and software, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to accurately input, and verify data, ensuring high-quality input for analysis
- Good Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with different teams to support operational goals
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain strong organizational skills
- Currently pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, business, political science, or related discipline
- Must be a senior or equivalent to graduate by end of summer 2026 or fall of 2026
- This position will be onsite at Arevon’s headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ
- Ability to work up to 30 hours per week
- Demonstrated interest in people and communities, sustainability, and renewable energy
