Job Description

A Senior Associate in Transaction Advisory Services at Aprio assists clients with buy-side and sell-side transactions, providing strategic insights and analysis to support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with buy-side and sell-side transactions, providing critical information for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Analyze financial data and perform due diligence to support transaction decisions.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to develop strategic transaction approaches.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience working in Transaction Advisory Services, including experience with buy-side and sell-side transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture transactions.
  • Have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze financial information relevant to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Have the ability to work effectively with clients and team members in a collaborative environment.
  • Possess excellent communication skills to clearly present findings and recommendations to clients and team members.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Have a thorough understanding of industry-specific issues in manufacturing, distribution, technology, retail, restaurant and hospitality, healthcare, government contracting, construction, and business services sectors.
  • Be proficient in financial modeling and valuation techniques relevant to transaction advisory work.
  • Possess or be pursuing a CPA license or equivalent professional certification (preferred but not explicitly required).
