The Transaction Advisory Services Director at Aprio leads client buy-side and sell-side transactions, providing strategic insights for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures across various industries, while driving practice growth and client engagement within a dynamic, high-growth firm.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with buy-side and sell-side transactions, providing critical information for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Identify and pursue new client opportunities through practice growth, prospecting, and marketing efforts.
Execute client transaction advisory work, including financial analysis and due diligence.
Help clients maximize transaction opportunities by delivering strategic insights and recommendations.
Requirements
Experience in providing transaction advisory services, including analyzing buy-side and sell-side transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, with the ability to deliver important information to clients for decision-making.
Ability to work with clients operating in a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, technology, retail, restaurant and hospitality, healthcare, government contracting, construction, and business services.
Proven expertise in practice growth, client prospecting, marketing, and executing client transaction advisory work, including selling comprehensive services of the firm.
Strong knowledge of the processes involved in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, with the capability to analyze and interpret transaction data for client decision-making.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory, mergers and acquisitions, or related financial consulting roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA certification or equivalent is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements, valuation reports, and transaction documents to support buy-side and sell-side transactions.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members and to present complex transaction information clearly.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel as required to client sites or industry events, if applicable.
