Job Description
The Transaction Advisory Services Director at Aprio leads client buy-side and sell-side transactions, providing strategic insights for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures across various industries, while driving practice growth and client engagement within a dynamic, high-growth firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with buy-side and sell-side transactions, providing critical information for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities through practice growth, prospecting, and marketing efforts.
- Execute client transaction advisory work, including financial analysis and due diligence.
- Help clients maximize transaction opportunities by delivering strategic insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- Experience in providing transaction advisory services, including analyzing buy-side and sell-side transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, with the ability to deliver important information to clients for decision-making.
- Ability to work with clients operating in a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, technology, retail, restaurant and hospitality, healthcare, government contracting, construction, and business services.
- Proven expertise in practice growth, client prospecting, marketing, and executing client transaction advisory work, including selling comprehensive services of the firm.
- Strong knowledge of the processes involved in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, with the capability to analyze and interpret transaction data for client decision-making.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory, mergers and acquisitions, or related financial consulting roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements, valuation reports, and transaction documents to support buy-side and sell-side transactions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members and to present complex transaction information clearly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as required to client sites or industry events, if applicable.
