Job Description
A leadership role responsible for managing property tax services within a dynamic, growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm, focusing on helping clients optimize their property tax opportunities and ensuring compliance while collaborating with a high-energy, innovative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee property tax compliance and planning for clients
- Develop and implement property tax strategies to maximize client opportunities
- Coordinate with clients and tax authorities regarding property tax issues
- Lead and mentor a team of property tax professionals
- Stay current with property tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in property tax or related tax fields.
- Demonstrate proven expertise in property tax with a deep understanding of property tax regulations and practices.
- Have a CPA license or equivalent certification.
- Have experience working with a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm or similar professional services environment.
- Possess strong leadership skills to lead and manage a team within the property tax division.
- Be able to work collaboratively within a high-energy, passionate, and ambitious team of professionals.
- Have the ability to innovate and bring ideas to help grow the firm’s property tax services.
- Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Be capable of managing multiple client engagements and projects simultaneously.
- Have a thorough understanding of property tax laws, compliance requirements, and valuation techniques.
- Be able to develop and implement property tax strategies to maximize client opportunities.
- Possess a strong understanding of the firm’s culture and the ability to uphold the firm’s fundamental behaviors and values.
- Be willing to work in a flexible working environment, including remote and hybrid options.
