Job Description
The Assurance Manager in Aprio's Professional Practice Group is responsible for ensuring compliance with professional standards, overseeing quality management systems, and supporting quality control for audit and assurance services to uphold the firm's standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to professional standards, including independence monitoring and quality management systems.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and monitoring of the firm's System of Quality Management (SQM).
- Support quality control processes for auditing, reviews, and other assurance services.
Requirements
- Hold a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to professional standards specifically independence monitoring and the firm’s system quality management under AICPA SQMS 1 and PCAOB QC 1000.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and monitoring of the firm’s System of Quality Management (SQM), ensuring the quality objectives are met and quality risks are proactively addressed.
- Support the firm’s quality control for auditing, reviews, and other assurance services.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of professional standards, quality control, and regulatory compliance relevant to public accounting.
- Demonstrate the ability to shape and influence the firm’s assurance practice to ensure adherence to professional standards, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
