Job Description
A Senior Tax Manager role focused on R&D Tax Credit services within a dynamic, growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm, responsible for helping clients maximize tax opportunities and providing leadership within the specialty tax team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients in maximizing their R&D tax credit opportunities
- Manage and oversee the preparation and review of R&D tax credit calculations and documentation
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary information for tax credit claims
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, with a focus on R&D Tax Credit services or related areas.
- Proven expertise in federal and state tax laws related to research and development tax credits.
- Strong understanding of tax credit calculations, documentation, and compliance requirements for R&D activities.
- Experience managing and reviewing complex tax projects and providing guidance to clients and team members.
- Ability to analyze and interpret tax regulations and apply them to client situations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical tax concepts to clients and team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to perform work at a computer for extended periods, including sitting and using standard office equipment.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings or professional development (if applicable).
