Job Description
A Senior Tax Manager role focused on providing tax planning and consulting services within a fast-growing, innovative CPA and advisory firm, supporting clients across manufacturing, international, and technology industries while leading a team and contributing to firm growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee client tax planning and compliance for manufacturing, international, and technology industries.
- Lead and review complex tax returns and related documentation.
- Provide strategic tax advice to clients to maximize opportunities and ensure compliance.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff and team members on tax projects.
- Stay current with evolving tax laws and regulations relevant to clients' industries.
- Assist in business development efforts, including client origination and relationship management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, with a focus on manufacturing, international, and technology industries.
- Proven experience in managing and leading tax engagements and teams.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations relevant to manufacturing, international, and technology sectors.
- Experience in providing tax planning, compliance, and consulting services to clients in fast-growing industries.
- Ability to analyze complex tax issues and develop strategic solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines.
- Experience with tax software and technology tools relevant to tax compliance and planning.
- Physical ability to perform work at a computer for extended periods.
