Job Description
A Senior Tax Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions at Aprio will assist clients in maximizing tax opportunities related to mergers, acquisitions, and other fast-growing industry activities, working within a dynamic, collaborative team at a progressive CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with tax planning and compliance related to mergers and acquisitions
- Prepare and review tax returns and related documentation for M&A transactions
- Provide strategic tax advice to clients involved in mergers, acquisitions, and other fast-growing industries
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax, specifically in mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns and related documentation for mergers and acquisitions.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and tax implications for clients.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
