Job Description
A Senior Tax Associate at Aprio will work with a dynamic team to provide tax services to middle to large-sized clients, focusing on manufacturing and international technology industries, while supporting client opportunities and contributing to the firm's growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns for middle to large-sized clients in manufacturing and international technology sectors.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to optimize clients' tax positions.
- Assist with tax compliance and ensure adherence to relevant tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in tax, specifically with middle to large sized tax clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations relevant to manufacturing and international technology industries.
- Experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns and related documentation.
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide tax planning strategies.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to stay current with changes in tax laws and industry best practices.
- Physical ability to perform work that may require sitting for extended periods and using a computer.
