Job Description
A Senior Tax Associate at Aprio works with a dynamic team to provide tax services to middle to large-sized clients, focusing on manufacturing and international technology industries, while contributing to a fast-growing, innovative CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with tax planning and compliance related to manufacturing and international technology sectors.
- Prepare and review tax returns and related documentation for middle to large-sized clients.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and advise clients on tax strategies.
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations applicable to clients' industries.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive tax services and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation, planning, or consulting, preferably with middle to large sized tax clients.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations relevant to manufacturing and international technology industries.
- Ability to analyze complex tax issues and provide strategic tax planning advice.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
- Physical ability to work in an office environment, including sitting for extended periods and using standard office equipment.
- Willingness to participate in firm-sponsored CPA support and continuing education programs.
