Job Description

A Senior Assessor CCA at Aprio leads the delivery and management of US Government cybersecurity compliance engagements, including assessments and advisory services for frameworks like CMMC, FedRAMP, and NIST, ensuring technical rigor and operational excellence while managing teams and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery and management of US Government cybersecurity compliance engagements (e.g., CMMC, FedRAMP, NIST RMF, NIST CSF).
  • Manage and oversee teams to ensure technical rigor and operational excellence in assessments and advisory services.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in US Government cybersecurity controls and compliance frameworks, including NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53.
  • Conduct official cybersecurity assessments for certification purposes as an accredited FedRAMP 3PAO and authorized CMMC C3PAO.

Requirements

  • Lead the delivery and management of US Government cybersecurity compliance engagements including but not limited to CMMC, FedRAMP, GovRAMP, NIST RMF, CMS AE DEE EDE, and NIST CSF, ensuring technical rigor, operational excellence, and high client value.
  • Possess accreditation as a FedRAMP 3PAO and authorization as a CMMC C3PAO, with the ability to perform official certification assessments.
  • Have subject matter expertise in US Government cybersecurity controls, specifically NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53, and related compliance frameworks listed above.
  • Demonstrate experience working with technologies used to implement and validate cybersecurity controls in accordance with Government requirements.
  • Experience leading teams and managing cybersecurity compliance engagements, including both advisory and assessment types.
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing, dynamic environment with a focus on operational excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Strong understanding of US Government cybersecurity frameworks, controls, and assessment procedures.
  • Excellent leadership skills to manage and guide teams through complex cybersecurity compliance projects.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, technically rigorous cybersecurity assessments and advisory services.
