Job Description
The Manager, Tax Technology Automation, is responsible for leading automation initiatives within the tax department, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in tax processes for a growing CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage tax technology automation initiatives for clients.
- Develop and implement automation solutions to optimize tax processes.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify automation opportunities in tax workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax technology, automation, or related areas.
- Experience working with tax automation tools and technologies.
- Strong understanding of tax processes and workflows.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage tax automation solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills related to tax technology.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including tax, IT, and advisory professionals.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with project management related to tax automation initiatives.
- Knowledge of CPA firm operations and tax compliance requirements is preferred.
