Job Description
The Manager, Tax Technology Automation, will lead initiatives to implement and optimize tax technology solutions, helping clients improve efficiency and accuracy in their tax processes within a dynamic and growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage tax technology automation initiatives for clients.
- Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline tax processes.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Maintain and enhance tax technology systems and tools.
- Provide expertise on tax technology best practices and innovations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax technology, automation, or related roles.
- Experience with tax automation tools and technologies relevant to CPA and advisory firms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage tax technology automation projects.
- Strong understanding of tax processes and workflows within a CPA or advisory firm environment.
- Proficiency in implementing and optimizing tax automation solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including tax professionals and IT staff.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with project management and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in tax technology and automation.
- Physical ability to perform job duties as required, including working in an office or remote environment.
