Job Description
The Director of Internal Transaction Advisory will lead the internal transaction services practice within Aprio's Corporate Development and M&A team, supporting the firm's growth through mergers and acquisitions and providing strategic advisory services to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Internal Transaction Advisory Services practice within the Corporate Development and M&A team.
- Manage and oversee merger and acquisition transactions, including due diligence and valuation processes.
- Develop and execute strategies for internal transaction advisory to support business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful mergers and acquisitions.
- Provide expert guidance on transaction structuring, financial analysis, and integration planning.
Requirements
- Lead the Internal Transaction Advisory Services practice operating within Aprio's Corporate Development and M&A team.
- Possess experience in mergers and acquisitions, with a track record of contributing to over 35 mergers or acquisitions completed in the last 6 years.
- Have the ability to work with a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm that is passionate for what’s next.
- Demonstrate leadership skills suitable for a Director-level position in a fast-growing firm.
- Possess a professional background in accounting, finance, or related advisory services relevant to transaction advisory.
- Be capable of working within a collaborative team environment with high-energy, passionate, caring, and ambitious professionals.
- Have the ability to innovate and bring ideas to help the firm grow to become the CPA firm of choice nationally.
- Be committed to professional growth and continuous learning in a dynamic environment.
- Meet the educational requirements typically associated with a Director-level role in accounting or advisory services (implying a relevant degree such as a CPA, CPA candidate, or equivalent).
- Be eligible to work in the United States, with no explicit mention of visa requirements but implied by the location and firm operations.
- Possess strong communication and leadership skills to manage and lead the practice effectively.
- Have experience or ability to work with a diverse, multilingual team across multiple locations, including U.S. and international offices.
