Job Description
The Account Development Representative at Samsara is responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and supporting the sales cycle through outbound and inbound outreach, with the goal of driving enterprise IoT solutions and advancing their sales careers in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Search for leads, map enterprise accounts, and build demand for Samsara's products
- Manage inbound lead flow, qualify leads, and distribute them to sales teams
- Execute outbound campaigns to engage potential customers and generate new leads
- Identify and map organizational structures to locate key decision-makers
- Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to develop product-focused campaigns
- Learn and observe the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
Requirements
- Willingness to conduct 80 cold calls a day
- Willingness to travel to the Atlanta, GA or Phoenix, AZ city centers
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year Bachelor’s degree program or within 1 year of graduation
- High level of interest in the IoT space
- Excitement around growing a sales career
- Comfortability in a dynamic, customer-facing environment
- Previous cold-calling experience
- Motivation to be in a goal-oriented, quota-carrying role
- Ability to learn about the sales funnel and observe the full sales cycle - from generating a lead to closing a deal
- Ability to manage inbound lead flow, qualify leads, and distribute them to appropriate sales representatives
- Ability to execute outbound campaigns to engage potential customers and generate new leads
- Ability to identify and map organizational structures to pinpoint key decision-makers within prospective accounts
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product-focused marketing campaigns that support sales objectives
- Willingness and ability to work in a hybrid position based in Atlanta or Phoenix, requiring 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote
- Excellent interpersonal skills

Annual on-target earnings (OTE) range of $58,940 to $67,360 USD depending on city of residence
