Job Description
The Director of Cost Segregation is a senior leadership role responsible for managing and expanding the firm's cost segregation practice, leading a team of tax, engineering, and accounting professionals to deliver high-quality studies, drive business growth, and ensure IRS compliance, all while providing strategic guidance to maximize tax benefits for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the firm's cost segregation practice.
- Lead a team of tax, engineering, and accounting professionals to deliver cost segregation studies.
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations related to cost segregation.
- Provide technical and strategic guidance to clients and internal stakeholders to maximize tax benefits through asset reclassification and accelerated depreciation strategies.
Requirements
- The candidate must have experience managing and growing a cost segregation practice, including leading a team of tax, engineering, and accounting professionals to deliver high-quality cost segregation studies.
- The candidate must serve as the technical and strategic lead, providing expert guidance to clients and internal stakeholders to maximize tax benefits through asset reclassification and accelerated depreciation strategies.
- The candidate must ensure compliance with IRS regulations related to cost segregation studies.
- The candidate must have the ability to drive business development efforts within the cost segregation practice.
