Job Description

The Audit Manager for Employee Benefit Plans will oversee and manage audit engagements related to employee benefit plans, ensuring compliance and quality standards while leading a team within a dynamic, growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee audits of employee benefit plans
  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary audit documentation
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards during audits

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing employee benefit plans or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in auditing employee benefit plans with a thorough understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ability to lead and manage audit engagements for employee benefit plans, including planning, execution, and review.
  • Strong knowledge of CPA firm services related to employee benefit plan audits and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with planning, executing, and reviewing employee benefit plan audits in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage client relationships and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to client locations for audit engagements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification or equivalent professional certification is required.
  • Physical ability to perform audit work, including visiting client sites and working at computer stations for extended periods.
