A Traveling Wastewater Treatment Operator responsible for operating and maintaining industrial wastewater treatment facilities across the United States, ensuring compliance, troubleshooting, and supporting emergency repairs while traveling extensively.
Key Responsibilities
Perform operation and maintenance of water, wastewater, and industrial treatment facilities.
Support project demands through coverage, routine corrective maintenance, and process control improvements.
Assist with preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, and emergency repairs.
Support instrument calibrations and upgrades.
Utilize technical platforms for data collection and analysis.
Respond to emergency calls and take corrective actions as needed.
Provide shift coverage and technical assistance for process control changes and troubleshooting.
Requirements
Knowledge of the water and wastewater industry to include equipment, controls and process.
Willingness to travel to support assigned projects and assist with emergency event repair and recovery efforts, with a minimum of 75% travel requirement.
Ability to lift 40 pounds.
Successful candidates will be expected to complete a pre-placement background check, drug screen, and physical.
