Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the global payroll operations strategy and architecture.
Oversee all global payroll cycles ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
Manage relationships with external payroll vendors to ensure reliability and security.
Partner with Treasury to forecast payroll cash outflows and optimize liquidity.
Ensure payroll accounting accuracy and support month-end financial reporting.
Lead regulatory audits and ensure compliance with tax filings and statutory requirements.
Collaborate on global stock-based compensation and ensure tax compliance.
Implement AI and automation solutions to scale payroll processes and improve efficiency.
Enhance employee experience through clear communication, training, and self-service tools.
Build and lead a high-performing, inclusive payroll team.
Requirements
10-15 years of progressive payroll leadership experience with a deep technical command of both US and international payroll landscapes.
Demonstrated success in leading and scaling globally dispersed teams through periods of significant headcount growth.
Strong understanding of payroll accounting, treasury cash positioning, and the impact of payroll on the broader balance sheet.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously in high-velocity environments.
A commitment to providing an elite, high-trust experience for employees, demonstrating customer obsession.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation or equivalent global certification.
Hands-on mastery of Workday and CloudPay platforms, with a focus on optimizing existing configurations.
Experience leveraging AI, RPA, or advanced data analytics to drive cost savings and operational efficiency within a unified global system.
