Job Description
An Audit Manager role within a dynamic, fast-growing CPA and advisory firm, responsible for leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and contributing to the firm's growth and innovation in the assurance services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee audit engagements for construction clients.
- Plan, execute, and review audit procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.
- Manage and coordinate audit teams to ensure timely completion of audits.
- Assess internal controls and risk management processes of construction companies.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, specifically in audit and assurance services.
- Hold a valid CPA license or equivalent certification recognized in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Demonstrate experience managing audit engagements from planning through completion, including supervision of staff and review of work performed.
- Have a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Show proven ability to lead and develop audit teams, providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.
- Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members at all levels.
- Be capable of managing multiple audit engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
- Have experience working with clients in fast-growing industries or dynamic business environments.
- Possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Be willing to travel as needed to client sites, with travel requirements not exceeding industry standards for audit professionals.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry changes and standards.
