Job Description

An Audit Manager at Aprio is responsible for leading audit engagements for private and closely-held companies, providing assurance services, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and fostering trusted client relationships to support sound business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee audit engagements for private and closely-held companies.
  • Ensure compliance with PCAOB standards and professional regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements to provide accurate information for clients.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Communicate audit findings and financial insights clearly to clients.
  • Manage and coordinate audit teams to ensure efficient audit processes.

Requirements

  • Possess a CPA license or equivalent certification, as the role involves assurance services and adherence to PCAOB standards.
  • Have experience in auditing or assurance services, with a focus on private and closely-held companies, providing precise financial statements.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to adhere to the standards and regulations of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders through clear communication and professional expertise.
  • Experience in managing or leading audit engagements, including planning, execution, and completion of audits.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and the ability to provide accurate and reliable financial information.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey audit findings and financial insights to clients and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently throughout the audit process, ensuring professionalism and compliance with professional standards.
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment with high-energy, passionate, and ambitious professionals.
  • Availability to work full-time, with flexibility for remote or hybrid work arrangements as needed.
