Job Description
An Accounting Manager role within a fast-growing CPA and advisory firm, responsible for overseeing client accounting services, supporting business growth, and fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee client accounting services and related financial activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for clients.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff to maintain high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations applicable to CPA and advisory services.
- Show proficiency in accounting software and tools relevant to client accounting services, with experience in industry-standard platforms preferred.
- Possess excellent leadership and team management skills to oversee and develop accounting staff.
- Able to analyze financial data and prepare accurate financial reports and statements.
- Have effective communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams, including the ability to explain complex accounting concepts clearly.
- Be capable of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Maintain a professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or be actively pursuing certification.
- Be willing to work in a flexible environment, including remote and hybrid work arrangements.
- Possess the ability to identify process improvements and implement best practices in accounting workflows.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the accounting field.
