Job Description

The Senior Sales Manager will lead the expansion into the US power generation and utility market by securing new enterprise clients for autonomous robotic inspection solutions, working closely with technical and partner teams to drive sales and build trust in the industrial robotics sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead expansion into the US power generation and utility market by securing initial enterprise clients.
  • Develop and maintain industry relationships to facilitate sales opportunities.
  • Own the commercial sales process from initial contact to closing deals, including designing pilot scopes and proposals.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure technical credibility and alignment during customer discovery and proposal development.
  • Manage and coordinate with US-based technology and services partners to identify and pursue co-sell opportunities.
  • Conduct joint account planning and pipeline reviews with partners to ensure opportunity progression and deal integrity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales role targeting the US power generation and utility market, with the ability to close sales cycles of approximately 18 months.
  • Demonstrated industry relationships within the US power utilities and energy sector to effectively move the needle and secure enterprise deals.
  • Experience in a pure hunter sales role with a land-and-expand model, including opening doors, securing initial enterprise footprints, and handing over to account teams for scaling.
  • Ability to work independently and own a sales territory in the US, specifically based in the San Francisco area.
  • Strong understanding of industrial robotics, AI-driven inspection platforms, or related high-tech solutions for infrastructure monitoring and asset health.
  • Experience working closely with technical teams such as Solution Architects during the sales process, including customer discovery, pilot scope design, and proposal development grounded in technical feasibility.
  • Ability to conduct joint account planning and pipeline reviews with US-based technology and services partners to ensure partner-involved opportunities are progressing with discipline and deal integrity.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to develop trust with customers and partners in the North American market.
  • Experience in managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and technical depth, with grit and persistence to close deals over approximately 18 months.
