Job Description
A Senior Solutions Architect at Amperity is responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions for customer data platforms, guiding customers on best practices, and ensuring scalable and effective integration of Amperity's AI-powered customer data cloud. The role combines technical expertise with customer-facing communication to deliver high-impact data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end solution architecture to meet customer requirements and use cases
- Own the performance and scalability of database creation and SQL queries within the platform
- Explain complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences
- Validate technical requirements and provide feedback to Solution Delivery Managers
- Implement production-grade databases and queries for high-value customer use cases
- Provide best practice guidance on integration strategies between Amperity, customer architectures, and third-party systems
- Lead data discovery sessions to inform solution decisions and configurations
- Analyze and design solutions according to project specifications
Requirements
- 8 years experience in software development, software implementation, or professional services.
- 8 years integrating data including various ETL data service processes.
- 8 years of experience with relational databases, SQL scripts, optimization, and dealing with large datasets.
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills with both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience leading and facilitating data discovery sessions to inform solution decisions and configure the solution.
- Ability to understand the business impacts of technical decisions and be empathetic to the full end-to-end customer use case.
- Ability to analyze, design the solution according to project specifications, and explain complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
- Experience implementing production-grade databases and queries that enable highly-visible, and highly-valuable, customer use cases to non-technical end-users.
- Experience providing best practice guidance to customers regarding integration strategy between Amperity, their technical architecture, and third-party systems.
- In-depth knowledge of design issues and best practices related to solution architecture.
- Experience communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect and documentation experience, with an emphasis on explaining technical concepts to business users.
- A wide breadth of technical knowledge, with an eagerness to learn and use new technologies.
- Basic Unix/Linux CLI experience.
- Familiarity with various cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Azure.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
