Job Description

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for Product-Led Growth at Amperity is responsible for developing and executing messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for the company's product-led growth initiatives, including launching self-service features, guiding customer onboarding, and analyzing key metrics to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build PLG positioning and messaging for the product
  • Act as a product and PLG expert to oversee marketing strategies
  • Launch and scale self-service features, including creating launch strategies and onboarding flows
  • Define the customer journey for product-led growth and support adoption and upsell efforts
  • Develop onboarding and educational content such as demos, videos, and sales materials
  • Measure key PLG funnel metrics to identify growth opportunities and optimize go-to-market tactics

Requirements

  • The candidate must have the equivalent of 8 years of experience in product marketing with an understanding of Product-Led Growth (PLG) products.
  • Experience driving critical outcomes across the customer journey, including awareness, demand, product usage, renewal, and up-sell.
  • Ability to act as a storyteller who can get into the technical details of a product and extract the value for a technical buyer.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, enjoyment of learning, and ability to gather new insights.
  • Comfortable presenting projects and recommendations at larger meetings and willing to become a company spokesperson and expert.
  • Experience analyzing products, competitors, and market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to focus on outcomes, develop plans, and deliver results.
  • Copywriting experience.
  • Experience in digital and traditional content-driven lead generation.
